VWVCs French Connection

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide our clients and their pets with the best advise and information about the PET Travel Scheme, our entire team visited this weekend the controll facilties at the port of Calais and the Channel Tunnel. We inspected the available microchip scanners and found that they were fully compliant with our Biotherm as well as with our 10 digit AVID microchips. Additionally we visited the clinic of Dr Delabre in 24, Rue de Perrochel in 62200 Boulogne sur Mer  (Tel. 0321 315151) who speaks very good English and who can be recommended (both by us as well as by some of our clients) for the obligatory certification of tick and tapeworm treatment of your pet before your return to the UK. Please note that this has to be done exactly between 24 and 48 hours before the return crossing.

The trip was very kindly sponsored by ANIMALCARE Ltd the supplier of BIOTHERM microchips and by INTERVET UK Ltd our Rabies vaccine provider.
