Atlantic Rowing Race 2007
Some of you might remember our former veterinary nurse
Catherine Allaway .
After working in the last few years in the international pet transport industry, she decided to drastically reduce her carbon foot print and to row (!!!) rather than to fly across the Atlantic.
Catherine and her rowing partner Margaret are planning to take part in the Annual Atlantic Rowing Race, which is going to start on Sunday 2nd Dec 2007.
The Virginia Water Veterinary Clinic is proud to support her with this colossal effort.
If you like to read more about her preparations and to sign up to her (hopefully) daily blog, visit her website http://www.extremerowing.com
Catherine and her partner are rowing in aid of the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability. If you would like to make a donation, visit their website http://www.leonard-cheshire.org for further information.
