Catherine made it across the Atlantic !

Catherine Allaway, one of our former nurses successfully crossed the Atlantic in a rowing boat together with her fellow rower Margaret Bowling in aid of the LEONARD CHESHIRE DisABILITY Charity. They departed on 2nd December 07 from La Gomera - one of the Canary Islands - and arrived yesterday (13th Feb) after 73 days 5 hours and 14 minutes at sea in Antigua. Apparently Catherine has now a red rowing boat with high mileage but only one previous lady owner for sale.....
